Thunder Tiger

The Thunder Tiger was my first 'Almost Ready To Fly' model. I could get it cheap for the dealer had it returned by the previous buyer who decided to go for RC-cars after all. I still had to build most of it and it took me the investment of a brand new 8cc Super Tigre engine.

I got quite handy with it (still flying with instructors though) until ......... the wing came off at high altitude !

This totalled the fuselage and the engine (AAARrggghhhhh).

Controls were: Rudder left / right, Nosewheel, Elevator Up / Down, Ailerons and Throttle.

This plane is no longer there. The wing and rudder section are being part of a 'home design' Stick-type plane now. (No picture yet)
